Do you know where your photos are right now?

Well, so I played off a public-affairs US TV campaign about parenting ... but aren't you somehow the "parent" of your digital images? DO you know where they all are right now? Can you find the one of Aunt Marie's 80th birthday party with her sister and brother, the last image of the three of them together ... within seconds? Ok, within minutes? Realistically, within hours?
Peter Krogh, a commercial photographer from the Maryland/Washington DC area is the "master" of DAM (Digital Asset Management) techniques and practices, and he's got his DAM Book, second edition out. Based on what I've learned from Peter, his books and forums, and many other speakers, I'm starting a series of articles and classes for MPM that will be easy to understand and apply, and will include information as to how to set up your entire system for both best practices for giving your images a safe and happy home and for working on them to make them as beautiful as possible.\
