A little love comes back ...

All the mentors here love doing weddings, and as in all of our professional photography, taking care of our clients. We don't want to just be a neutral presence at the big event, but to have a positive effect on the people we come in contact with so that THEY have a better time at the wedding. And of course, we want the couple and their families and friends to enjoy choosing many photographs that will help them remember this wonderful day.

Miriam notes today in her own posts that we recently received a lovely note from one of our brides of last summer. It's always a thrill to have someone so pleased that they actually remember to say something to us! Liz Campos and Bart Marquez were a dream to work with, gentle and sweet, delightful sense of humor, and with all the joyous family surrounding everything that you could hope for in a Mexican-inspired festival day. Everyone was helping out with this or that, the two mothers were the primary cooks for the feast (for a couple hundred guests!) and they even had a full mariachi band with singers there for the reception.

It was a beautiful and important moment for these two families, and an honor to share and to record.  And as always at weddings, things are left lying around that make for pretty pics just to keep for themselves. Ah, we do love to do what we do!

Liz and Bart are perfect customers. They love our work and are willing to pay for it.

It was a great wedding but I can hardly wait until they start having kids!
