Shootin' and uploadin' ... lions and tigers and bears, oh my!

One of the scarier things about shooting more images is you then have to do something with them to get them out of the camera so you can shoot more! It's a never-ending cycle, but we're trying to be as helpful with that aspect of digital photography as anything else. So, my first new article on the subject is "Organization 101" on the basics of organizing your collection of images so you can enjoy them, and it's just a click away.

The series of articles I'm writing should also (over time) help make the whole process of uploading, working, distributing/sharing and backing-up your collection/s less daunting ... in fact, it should eventually become easy, largely automated, and comfortable.

In the meantime, I've got a new album up from a recent rNeil Photographer shoot, of Dr. Pat Huff, the Banjo Man. He's a unique and delightful man, many-talented, not the least of which are his abilities in making apple pies! He's made everything between a log-cabin, timber-frame house of three stories that has to be seen to be believed, and a woodshop that is to-die-for where he makes some of the world's finest and most unique banjos, with numerous innovations of his own in their design and contruction.

That's just Pat though ... everything he does, has his own unique thought-process applied to it, whether it's house construction, banjos, or apple pies: they are unique, and they simply are better than the way others do them.

He's quite an inspiration. Enjoy the pics!

Oh, and Miriam has  new album showing his family and home! "The Magical Musical Home in the Woods" is another set of fun images!
