Priorities

You may have noted that over the past couple of weeks I haven't been on MyPhotoMentor as much as my partners.  It's not that MPM hasn't been an integral part of my daily activities - I've just been outwardly focused.  It's a delicate balance between spending my days here with the subject I love, and OUT THERE getting the word out.

I've also been traveling for business and for pleasure.  A wedding in Las Vegas last weekend.  A visit to see my son's lead debut as an opera tenor in the Chicago area in February.  The annual Professional Photographers of Oregon convention in between.  (Did I mention that I acheived my AFP - Associate Fellow of Photography - and was honored at the formal banquet?  Woo-hoo!)

But my heart is, and always has been, with photography and with writing.  And here I get to combine my two loves.  I get to share my knowledge - and I get to learn from you!  Because I think that's really what we're about here.  We are a photographic community of passionate people.  I'm so glad you're all here!
