Arrange your Brushes

Tuesday, October 6th 2009 @ 12:14 PM (not yet rated)    post viewed 166 times

It's wonderful to have custom brushes.  What I don't like is having to scroll ALL THE WAY down through the brushes to get to them.  Luckily, I don't have to!  And neither do you.

In Photoshop, click Edit - Preset Manager.  Up jumps the Brushes Palette (and Swatches, Gradients, Styles, etc.) - ready for customization!  Are there brushes that you never use?  You can click on them & delete them.  Would you like the brushes in a different order?  Click on the brush and drag it to your preferred location.  It's just that easy.

Great tip! I know it is possible to create different groups of brushes, too. I will let you know when I have that one figured out!
