 Anita doing her first baking ever, chocolate chip cookies of course! |
 Ready to pop another tray in for baking ... and they were awesome to eat! She's also baked Ginger Crinkles and other things now. We LOVE teaching her to cook our favorite treats! |
 This was taken seconds after Anita touched snow for the first time. Taiwan is along the Tropic of Cancer, meaning it is ... tropical! ... in climate. It was a nicely warm day (in the 40's F.) but there was plenty of snow. This is at the snow-park for sledding across from Hoodoo Ski Bowl at the summit of the Santiam Pass. |

 In line, from top to bottom as we trudge up for the first sledding run, is myself, Lars, and Anita ... |
 Still trudging up the hill ... but Anita wanted to wait and watch, so I went down with Lars. |
 Now that she's seen Lars and I, when Miriam went up with a sled she was willing to get on, but only BEHIND Miriam! |
 Well, they made it most of the way down the hill at least ... before over-turning sideways. Miriam seems not to be the best plastic-sled-driver! |
 Another run, and for a big change, they made it ALL the way down without over-turning. |
